ACTA
The Association de coordination technique agricole (French Agricultural Technical Coordination Association) aims to reinforce cross-disciplinary approaches and collaborations between French Agricultural Technical Institutes and research organisations, professional agricultural organisations, public authorities, etc. In addition, Acta coordinates applied research and transfer activities.

ADEME

Ademe (French Environment and Energy Management Agency) participates in the creation of public policies in the environment, energy and sustainable development fields. It helps with the financing of projects, from research to implementation in the following fields: waste management, soil preservation, energy efficiency and renewable energies, air quality and measures to combat noise.

ADEPTA
Adepta (Association for the Development of International Exchanges in Agricultural and Agri-food Products and Techniques) promotes the agricultural and agri-industrial sectors at the international level.

AFNOR
Afnor (French Association for Standardisation) is an international group of services structured around four major fields of skill: standardisation, certification, specialised publishing and training.

AGROPARISTECH
On 1 January 2007, Engref, Ensia and INA P-G were merged to create AgroParisTech, a major higher education institution and leader in the field of Life Sciences. It trains engineers and managers in the Life Sciences and Environment fields.

AGROSUP DIJON
AgroSup Dijon is an engineering school that was created following the merger of Ensbana and Enesad. It has several missions: training, research and technological development, particularly for the benefit of the agri-foods industry.

ANIA
The Association nationale des industries alimentaires (French National Association of Food Industries), is the mouthpiece of the French food industry. As a key interface with the public authorities, French and European institutions, it acts in a coherent and synergistic manner with its members within its fields of skill in order to promote the French food industry.

ANR
The Agence nationale de la recherche (French National Research Agency), is a financing agency for research projects. On a competitive selection mode that meets international standards, it strives to foster creativity, innovation and partnerships. Since 2010, the ANR is the main operator of Investissements d’Avenir in the field of tertiary education and research. In this context, it ensures the selection, funding and monitoring of projects.

ANRT
The membership of the Association nationale de la recherche et de la technologie (French National Research and Technology Association) includes the key public and private stakeholders in research and innovation.
Its three main activities are Cifre conventions, the FutuRIS forward studies platform and, with the European department, the improvement of partnership research practices.

ANSES
The French Agency for Food, Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety is an independent public institution responsible for survey and providing alerts, expertise, research and encouragement for research, which contributes to improving human food safety in the environmental, occupation and food sectors. Thanks to its broad field of skill, Anses is capable of understanding all types of exposures to which humans are subjected, either voluntarily or otherwise, at every age and at each moment of their lives  (work, home, leisure, while travelling).

BPIFRANCE
Bpifrance is a public group of funding and investment for companies, present in all French regions, to meet all their financial needs, innovation and investment.

CIRAD
The aim of the Centre for International Cooperation in Agronomical Research for Development is to contribute to the rural development of tropical and subtropical countries.

CNA
The Conseil national de l'alimentation (French National Food Council), an independent consultative body, unites all of the stakeholders in the food chain, debates food-related issues and formulates proposals for strategies and actions concerning food safety.

CNRS
The Centre national de la recherche scientifique (French National Centre for Scientific Research) carries out research in all scientific, technological and societal sectors. It covers all scientific fields: Mathematics, Physics, Information and Communication Technologies and Sciences, Nuclear and High-Energy Physics, Earth and Life Sciences, Chemistry, Human and Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences and Engineering Sciences.

COMPETITIVE CLUSTERS
The competitive clusters of the agri-foods sector bring together all of the stakeholders in the different branches (manufacturers, research centres, ACTIA Technological Centres and training bodies) to participate in joint projects.

COOP DE FRANCE
Coop de France is the professional organization of agricultural cooperation, political voice of cooperatives among French and European public authorities, the media and civil society.

CTI NETWORK

Operating with the support of professional organisations, the Centres techniques industriels (CTI - Industrial Technical Centres) constitute a key means of technology transfer and innovation for the French industrial fabric. The CTIs thus form a link between industry and research.

DGE
The "Direction générale des entreprises" (Directorate for companies) is a branch of the "ministère chargé de l'industrie" (Ministry responsible for industry) and of the "ministère de l'Artisanat, du Commerce et du Tourisme" (Ministry of Craft, Commerce and Tourism) of the France. Its official mission is to ensure the economic attractiveness of France and the international competitiveness of French companies.

ÉNIL
The Écoles nationales d'industries laitière et agro-alimentaire (French National Dairy Industry and Agri-Foods Schools) train professionals at all levels of the dairy, and more generally, agri-foods industries.

ENSAIA
The École nationale supérieure d'agronomie et des industries alimentaires (National College of Agronomy and Food Industries) at Nancy trains agricultural and food industry engineers.

EUROPEAN UNION
Cordis is the European Union's Research and Development portal.

FOOD FOR LIFE
The Food for Life, european technology platform, brings together key stakeholders of the food in Europe: consumers, industry, researchers and academia, governments. It works to promote the priorities for research, communication, training and knowledge transfer in the food industry for years to come as a basis for improving the competitiveness of the largest industry manufacturing and distribution in Europe so that European citizens enjoy a food healthy, safe, varied and affordable.
 
FOOD FOR LIFE FRANCE
Food For Life France is the french platform that brings together all actors of french research and innovation in food: professionals (manufacturers, artisans, ...), distributors, public research centers (INRA, CNRS, CIRAD , IRSTEA, IFREMER), specialized technical centers of ACTIA, higher education establishments, competitiveness clusters, government and agencies of funding.
 
FOODDRINKEUROPE
FoodDrinkEurope represents the European food industry and beverages. It promotes the interests of the industry to the European and international institutions by contributing to food security, nutrition and health, environmental sustainability and competitiveness.

IFREMER
Through its activities and expertise in understanding the oceans and their resources, the Institut français de recherche pour l'exploitation de la mer (French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea) participates in monitoring the marine and coastal environment and in the sustainable development of maritime activities.

INRA
The Institut national de recherche agronomique (French National Institute for Agricultural Research) carries out targeted research into healthy and high-quality foods, competitive and sustainable agriculture and a preserved and enhanced environment.

INSERM
L’Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale (National Institute of Health and Medical Research) is a public scientific and technological specializing in medical research.

IRSTEA
Irstea (French Agricultural and Environmental Engineering Research Centre) is the reference targeted research institute for the sustainable management of water and the regions.

ISARA
Isara-Lyons is an institution which trains engineers in the fields of agriculture, food, rural development and the environment.

MONTPELLIER SUPAGRO

The International Centre for Advanced Studies in Agricultural Sciences, Montpellier SupAgro, is a major higher education institution in the Life Sciences field.

ONIRIS
The Nantes-Atlantique National College of Veterinary Medicine, Food Science and Engineering, created on 1 January 2010 following the merger of Enitiaa and ENV in Nantes, covers a broad range of fields including Animal Health, Public Health, the clinical and biomedical fields, Food Sciences and Process Engineering.

UBIFRANCE
The French Agency for International Business Development relies on a network of professionals to support projects.

UNIDO
The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation is responsible for identifying and promoting industrial projects in developing countries or countries in transition requiring technologies, expertise and foreign capital.
