Administrative board

A non-profit association under the French Law of 1901, Actia is administered by an administrative board consisting of representatives from the agroindustrial sector, in addition to the Chairmen of the Scientific and Technical Council and the Committee of Directors of Actia Centres.
 
In addition, the following persons are systematically invited: the Financial Controller appointed by the Minister responsible for the Budget, representatives of the French State (Ministries responsible for Food and Research), and elected Directors of ITAIs and Partner Centres.
 
The Administrative Board's responsibilities include defining Actia's major policies, establishing its program of activities which is then transformed into the Contract of Agreed Objectives, and monitoring the performance indicators. At the same time, the Administrative Board specifies the implementation methods.
