ACTIA and European programmes
For 25 years, Actia has been dedicating its resources to promoting the integration of Food Technology Institutes within the European Research Area. Actia's European activities have undergone positive developments thanks to the 7th Research and Development Framework Programme (FP7) and currently Horizon 2020 (2014-2020), by coordinating or participating in collaborative R&D projects alongside its Food Technology Institutes.
Actia, a federative structure, also participates in support and coordination projects, including within several SSA (Specific Support Actions) and CSA (Coordination and Support Actions).
Role of ACTIA centres
Benefiting from the European Network and Actia's federative actions, the Food Technology Institutes regularly participate in R&D projects. As technology intermediaries between research and industry, Actia and its centres are essential partners for collaborative research projects (R&D, demonstration activities, technology transfer and dissemination).
