Objectives
The Actia Écofluides joint technological network has a five-year programme that started in January 2020. Its objective is to increase food companies’ energy and water efficiency and flexibility.
Its work aims to:
- develop easy-to-implement solutions for water- and energy-efficient processes;
- approach water and energy consumption from the angle of actual industrial requirements, by working on the efficiency of resource use and not just its production;
- improve the integration of water- and energy-related indicators in process management;
- develop holistic approaches to energy and water management, at the level of companies, to make them more flexible and increase their capacity to use renewable energies.
